When you bring home a Dot Sheepadoodle, you’re not just getting a puppy — you’re welcoming a little piece of our family. Every litter we raise starts right here in our home in the hills of Claremont, California, surrounded by love, laughter, and the kind of hands-on care that makes all the difference.
Unlike large breeding programs, we only raise one or two litters a year. That means every single puppy gets our full attention — from day one until the moment they head to their forever home. Here’s a look inside what makes our process so special.
Dot Sheepadoodles started with our first dog, Dot — the namesake and heart behind everything we do. Today, our family includes Madeline and Hayden, along with our two kids, Goldie and Henry, who play a big role in raising every litter.
Our puppies grow up right in the middle of family life — not in kennels or barns. That means they’re used to kids, visitors, household sounds, and plenty of snuggles. By the time they leave us, they’ve already learned to feel comfortable and confident in a family setting.
From the first few weeks, we gently expose our puppies to new experiences to help them grow into happy, well-adjusted companions.
Every step is designed to give them confidence and teach them that the world is a fun, loving place.
Each puppy receives regular vet checkups, deworming, and vaccinations before heading home. Both parents — Mookie (our red merle Standard Poodle) and Cash (our AKC-registered Old English Sheepdog) — have been fully health tested, including OFAs and genetic screenings.
We take pride in breeding for health, temperament, and structure — not quantity. Every puppy comes from parents who are healthy, balanced, and loved.
Before going home, each puppy experiences car rides, bath time, and visits from friends and family to prepare them for real-life situations. We even send them off with a familiar blanket that smells like their littermates — a small comfort to help them settle in.
We want every new family to feel confident knowing their Dot Sheepadoodle was raised with intention, care, and heart.
Our next litter arrives this December, just in time for Christmas! Spaces on the waitlist are limited, and we’d love to help you find your perfect pup.
